Oooh, I read a great tip online the other day on how to solve the messy closet syndrome. Try this:

Turn all of the hangers in one direction- away from you. After you put an item away, turn the hanger around so it faces you.

After 6 months, donate or toss the items that you haven't worn (turned).

Cool, eh?

Not sure where I saw this – maybe it was on your Moms with ADD site – but there was a woman who takes pictures of outfits so she can remember what goes with what when she's getting dressed in the morning?  Not sure where I saw that.  I have a terrible time getting dressed – even when I'm certain I know what I want to wear that day, I end up changing at least one piece and sometimes change the entire outfit 2 or 3 times.  I'm thinking about doing photos but I find the thought intimidating.

I am constantly struggling with my studio closet.  I have the hangers with the lil hooks that hang on to eachother.  My bras and belts are usually always in the way.  One day i found an extra set of shower (curtain) hooks in a drawer and slapped up an exta shower bar rod i had in my closet and hang belts, hats and bras from it.  Works a whole lot better then my many failed attempts of nails or hook screws not holding into the plaster….
