Here’s my list of what I’m exploring this week.

What I’m Saying

Wow! Pulitzer-Prize Journalist (and Author), Katherine Ellison, Interviews Me

Want to know how I came to be diagnosed with ADHD?
Is ADHD a gift? Or something else? How can we move forward in educating professionals? We covered a ton of interesting topics and you can watch us at The Inattentive ADHD Coalition’s YouTube Channel. Jump over here to view the interview.

Special thanks to the coalition’s director, Cynthia Hammer. She’s doing amazing work at IADHD.org AND she’s just written a book, Living with Inattentive ADHD: Climbing the Circular Staircase of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, available now for preorder at Amazon (release date: August 29) or wherever you purchase books.

How does your ADHD affect you?  Please post your thoughts in the Comment Section below.

What I’m Learning

Do you know how many adults in the USA have ADHD?

What is the average age a child is diagnosed with ADHD?

I hated statistics in college, but am overjoyed when I find such ADHD information online, especially when I’m being interviewed by the media.

This site offers a lot of important statistical information: ADHD Statistics.

** Special thanks to my friend, Hal Meyer of The A.D.D Resource Center, for sharing this in his fantastic newsletter, which you can subscribe to HERE.

Hal knows everything about ADHD and everyone who has contributed to the field. He is my go-to person when I’m stumped- such a treasure to our ADHD community! And he’s an incredible ADHD coach (he’s in NYC) and a most cherished pal.
