Here’s my list of what I’m exploring this week.
What I’m Saying
I was a recent guest on Katie Weber’s fabulous Women & ADHD podcast! I talked about one of my favorite topics: Sensory Sensitivities. What a great interviewer- she is soooo insightful and threw some great thought-provoking questions my way. Check out her other sessions with some very interesting, bright interviewees, including some of the top experts in the field.

Want Answers and Support for your ADHD? Let me Help you via Zoom or Email!
I remember when I got the diagnosis of ADHD over 25 years ago. I was confused. Lost. I didn’t believe the psychologist. No…ADHD means being hyperactive, impulsive, getting into trouble at school, I thought. None of these things described me.
Back in those days, adult ADHD was almost unheard of. I felt so lost, with no one to talk to.
If that sounds like you, or if you have other questions, worries, or problems relating to your ADHD (or possible ADHD, if you haven’t yet been evaluated), or if you’re searching for help in your area but can’t find it, I’m here to help you sort things out.
** Due to popular demand, I have opened up more slots for online consultations via Zoom. These have become super popular, so if you’re looking to work with me, grab an appointment (they fill up quickly). We meet live on Zoom (or you can request an email consultation instead).

Why Am I So Sensitive to Criticism and Rejection? Let’s Talk about RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria)
It’s important to first understand the word Dysphoria: “a state of feeling very unhappy, uneasy, or dissatisfied.”
People with ADHD can be prone to RSD. If that sounds like you, read this excellent article at the ADD Resource Center on what it is and what you can do about it:
What I Recommend
You say you can’t slow down to calm down? Can’t fall asleep? Try this! The guided breathing Buddha will help calm & focus your mind during the day or promote a peaceful night sleep. Pace your breathing as Buddha changes color. See? You can do it!
