Here’s my list of what I’m exploring this week.

What I’m Saying

Tips for Creating a Peaceful Household When Mom Has ADHD

A while back, I was invited by CHADD (chadd.org) to give a webinar on moms with ADHD for their Ask the Expert series. I’d forgotten about it until I fell into it and saw that there were over 63,000 views on YouTube, so I figured I’d share it with you here.

Check out my session on Tips for Creating a Peaceful Household When Mom Has ADHD.

What I Learned

Studies show that many children outgrow their ADHD. That hasn’t been my (or many of my colleagues’) experience, working with adults with ADHD for over 25 years. Instead, I’ve found that most children continue to have symptoms into adulthood. However, many adults have learned to compensate, so perhaps that’s where this data is coming from.

Here’s a study suggesting that children do not tend to outgrow ADHD. What do you think?
