I am so glad you’re here! That means you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and dive in to today’s project! As you know, many people with ADHD have a tough time getting started (and finishing) on tasks that are boring or seemingly difficult. That’s why The Queen Is In is here to help you! We meet as a group to work as a team who “gets” ADHD, with me at the help, guiding you to face a project you might have been putting off.
The Queen Is In is a 30 minute session designated at a certain date and time as shown on the home page.
Spots are limited and should a session be filled, you will be offered a different session at a future time.
Once you sign up, an email will be sent to you prior to the session- it will be coming from Slack.com- and it is an invitation to join a special channel set up for this particular session. You will be asked to set up a user name and password. You do not have to use your real name- you can pick any user name you like.
Your privacy is extremely important to us so your email will not be shared or sold with any third parties.
The chat room we use is a software program called Slack.com and the invitation will have that name on it, so you may have to look in your SPAM folder if you do not receive it right away. The rooms inside Slack are called channels, and you will only have access to the channel connected to the session you purchased. For example, the channel might be named Pursecleaning 5/10/16.
This service is offered at the low price of $5.00 per session and no refunds will be offered once the session has started. If you have any questions you can email firstname.lastname@example.org
HOW IT WORKS
Each session will offer a very specific task for attendees. Once you arrive in the chatroom, please acknowledge your arrival (you can say HI, or…I’m here, etc.). Then, get moving on your task at hand! You will have 1/2 hour to get it done. Once you’re done, or when you’re at the 1/2 hour mark, please return to the chatroom and briefly comment on your progress. This is a program to help hold you accountable, so it’s important to return and share how you fared. Perhaps you finished within the 1/2 hour framework. Or maybe you need to get back to work and finish. There is no wrong way to do this. It could be enough time to get the project done or it can simply be a jumpstart. But I do want to know how you fared.
It’s as simple as that!
